Sort of disturbing book about life from the view of a "vegetable." The narrator is a 14 year-old kid with C.P. who cannot communicate or control his body at all. However, his brain works perfectly fine and is a very smart kid. Most of the novel revolves around his father debating if they best thing to do for his disabled son is to "put him out of his misery." I wasn't really disturbed until the end when I reached the Author's Note and realized that the father in the story was probably based very strongly on the author.
