i had a lot of problems with this book. the main character, Rhine, makes Bella look like a rocket scientist. the romantic interest was lame and don't even get me started on her relationship with her "husband." the real kicker for me, however, was this sentence on page 58, "I educate myself on the polar ice caps, vaporized long ago by warfare, and an explorer named Christopher Columbus who proved the earth was round." WTF! even wikipedia knows this columbus myth is total BS and that he was honestly a bit of a dumbass who really thought he was in Asia. some people might want to consider reading Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong instead.
